ABOUT
Brandon Matthews is a professional hitting instructor in North Carolina. Brandon has almost 20 years of coaching experience at all levels from youth to professional baseball. In 2017, Brandon started Swing Angry LLC for baseball and softball hitting instruction. Since then, Brandon has performed thousands of lessons with youth to professional hitters.
Combining playing experience and continued research, Brandon has developed unique training methods aimed at helping athletes compete physically and mentally at the highest levels of the game.

Brandon strives to stay up to date on the latest in player development by completing courses, studying other coaching methods, and attending various coaching clinics.

2022 Hitting Coach: Waynesboro Generals - Valley Baseball League: Regular Season CHAMPIONS 28-19 overall record. Ranked as the #1 offensive team in the league leading in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, runs scored, hits, doubles, home runs, RBI, total bases, and stolen bases.

2019 Hitting Coach: Paul D. Camp Community College - Ranked as one of the top offenses in NJCAA Region 10 during the 2019 season. Improved the offense from 5 home-runs in 2018 to 37 in 2019 leading to 30 wins and a regional appearance! The team hit .296 /.423 /.450

2018 Hitting Coach: New Market Rebels - Valley Baseball League CHAMPIONS 30 - 18 overall. 5th best offensive team in league history. #1 Offensive team in the league in 2018. .290/.396/.441, The team led the league in all three rate categories, batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage, along with runs (55 more than 2nd place! Same number of games!), doubles (with 85), home runs (with 46), and walks (with 246). The lineup finished second in hit-by-pitches and stolen bases.

2014 Head Coach: Carolina Freedom in the All American Collegiate Baseball League - 2014 Regular Season and Tournament CHAMPIONS. 27-7 overall
