Are Weekly Lessons Holding Your Athlete Back?

For many families, weekly hitting lessons feel like the “right” thing to do. You show up once a week, take swings, get some feedback, and hope those adjustments stick until the next session.
But the truth is...
Development doesn’t happen once a week. Real skill growth requires frequency, repetition, feedback, and structure, not a single lesson that’s forgotten by the time the next one rolls around.
That truth became incredibly clear during a recent hitting assessment we completed with one of our 12U athletes. We took a deep dive into every part of her swing using Blast Motion, HitTrax, and high-speed video, collecting key performance metrics across multiple rounds of batting practice.
After reviewing the data together, the athlete and her family walked away with a clear understanding of her strengths and the specific areas where she needs improvement.
From there, we built her custom training program, designed to improve her overall swing efficiency with scripted workouts several times per week.
No more guessing. No more “just swinging.” Every rep now has a plan and a purpose.
This is how development happens. This is how athletes get better.
And now she trains with a proven, structured program designed by a hitting instructor and delivered multiple times per week, instead of paying large amounts for just one weekly lesson. Athletes learn faster, retain movement patterns longer, and develop more consistent skills when they’re exposed to quality training and repetition multiple times a week vs once a week.
The proof is in the results.
Our hybrid athletes who train multiple times a week and even our 100% remote athletes are consistently outshining those relying on traditional once-a-week lessons.
24/7 Coaching. More reps. More structure. More feedback. More progress.
This is why Hybrid/Remote training programs > traditional lessons.
Programs build hitters. Lessons just check a box.
